More About Me

About MaryLou

Hello! My name is MaryLou and I have been a proud Windermere Realtor for nearly 35 years.

Buying a home is often the most significant purchase most of us will ever make. My number one priority is to make sure that your property is a sound purchase by helping you avoid pitfalls such as choosing a poor location, overpaying, or buying more house than you can comfortably afford.

If you are ready to sell your home, I will help you capture the most value from your investment. I employ creative home staging, professional photography, and diverse print and digital media channels to showcase your property and share its unique story with the world.

Direct, open communication is essential to how I do business. I encourage you to ask questions and voice concerns throughout the entire process. Whether you prefer emails, phone calls, text messages, or face to face meetings, I want you to feel secure in your decisions and am happy to meet you wherever you are in the process.

Before I started my career as a realtor, I put a B.A. in Sociology from the Pennsylvania State University to work in outpatient mental health treatment for about ten years. I am a third generation Girl Scout and take pride in the volunteer work I’ve done with Girl Scouts of Western Washington helping young women in our community develop self-confidence and entrepreneurship skills. I also serve on advisory committees at Woodland Park Presbyterian Church, where I’ve been a member for over 35 years. When I’m not singing in the choir, my husband and I love to visit our daughters in Olympia and Bend on the weekends.

I am truly your realtor for life. My clients describe me as honest, savvy, and personable. They will tell you I go above and beyond to make the process of buying or selling a home an uncomplicated, enjoyable experience.

Whether you’re buying your first home or selling the family estate, I’d love to chat. Email me at mmackay@windermere.com or give me a call at 206-409-2060. I can’t wait to get to know you!
